Right from his school days he had taken activae part in freedom movement. In 1931 he joined as clerk in M/s. Bukingham & Carnatic Mills for a meage monthly salary of Rs. 35/. His hard work and and outstanding capabilities got him elevated to the level of Chief Sales Executive. His untiring work and various novels schemes in the field of marketing to push up textile sales made M/s. Binny Ltd., request him to continue as their advisor. His service encomium has been record in the HOUSE OF BINNY.....

It is refreshingly hopeful to pen the introductory note after a hiatus of two years . This period has allowed us to introspect, explore and improve. We learned a lot of technical things, how to conduct virtual meetings and competitions, how to conduct classes and exams online. We strived hard to keep the learning gaps in control. Yes the two years have done damage in certain areas ; particularly writing. Students have lost their speed in writing and the handwriting has to improve. The pandemic has imprinted its dent in the life of everyone. But as the famous saying says, ‘Change is the only permanent thing here’, we need to unlearn and learn again. Sree Sankara Bala Vidyalaya, T.Nagar was founded in 1958, on the advice, and with the blessings of the Paramacharya the Mahaswami of Kanchi. The Conceptualization of SSBV was to instill the teachings of our sacred scriptures in the minds of the youth beyond the caste and community lines and combined with the modern education. The school was located in the heart of the city and in the close proximity of T.Nagar bus stand and Mambalam railway station.
The School was affiliated to CBSE stream of syllabus in 1985 and around 14 Batches of X Std were sent to the board exams and students came out with flying colours. It was indeed an addition of an other feather in our cap when the school started securing 100% pass result from 1993. The School switched over to the Matriculation Board, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, in the year 2001. It is indeed a privilege to go on record that SSBV was the topper in the locality in 2002 & 2003. As nothing succeeds success, our students achieved greater heights with all-round performance.

Sree Sankara Bala Vidyalaya Golden Jubilee School Sree Sankara Bala Vidyalaya Golden Jubilee School inherited its legacy from Sree Sankara Bala Vidyalaya, T.Nagar which was founded on the advice and with the blessings of Paramacharya the Mahaswami of Kanchi.
SSBV was the first English medium school in T.Nagar, served the residents in and around the area for over 48 years. It had the unblemished record of providing quality education since its inception in 1958.
VISION
SSBVGJS was established in the year 2008 and the school has stood up successfully and has completed 15 years of flourishing, rewarding, effective and meaningful & conducive existence.
Our school teaches students, the fundamentals of life to instill values and principles and serve as a perfect place to develop a strong positive impact on their attitude and personality. Students learn with enjoyment and that is the reason that school life is considered the best phase of our life.
